Site content descriptions

PTP Content

The resources directory holds Personal Transformation Practice (PTP) content that we hope will inspire and inform visitors on the development and maintenance of a Personal Transformation Practice (PTP).

Other Content

Site content in the projects, areas and archives directories contains information on current projects, areas of responsibility and archived content.

These three directories are geared towards website operations, tasks, maintaining commitments and general responsibilities in maintaining the site.

Transparency experiment

This is all part of an experiment in transparency that we believe may be helpful for visitors, contributors and maintainers.

The PARA Method

We make use of the PARA method for organizing our content.

This is within the context of other, non-para organized directories that are required for hosting a multi-lingual material for mkdocs website.

So in cases where PARA is not followed we do so in order to support a default language of English as well as translations for other languages.

Potential Benefits

By clearly separating public-facing content from internal documentation, the website achieves several key objectives:

  • Transparency: Detailed internal documentation fosters an open understanding of the website's operational processes, which is crucial for smooth delegation of ongoing maintenance and operations.
  • Educational Value: The internal documentation not only supports the site's upkeep but also provides practical guidance and practices for anyone interested in learning how to build and manage a website.
  • Efficiency: Site visitors including users, contributors and maintainers will have quick access to content and guides for their usage.
  • Scalability: We believe this structure will better support future growth by allowing additional resources and documentation to developed over time and then be systematically integrated. This also facilitates the usage of automation in content and site maintenance
  • Potential automation targets include:
    • deployment, backups and rollbacks
    • delinting and debugging issues
    • metadata generation and maintenance for content
    • Initial translation of documentation into targeted languages.
    • Enable tailored communication

Conclusion

Our aim is to support the needs of two distinct audiences: - Site Visitors seeking useful, engaging and well curated content. - Site Contributors seeking information on technical information regarding the website itself.

We hope that this integrated approach enhances the user experience and provides for highly accessible content to all audiences. For further details, please explore these dedicated sections: - Personal Transformation Practice content: resources/ - Internal operations and documentation: areas/ops/
