Change the Installation Mode

Press F4, Select "Install a Command-line System" using the arrow keys.

Location and Language

If you live in Canada, you may want to pretend for the moment you live in the US as certain Canadian Ubuntu Respositories  servers regularly result in failed installation.  (This has been going on for a few years now, what's up with that folks?!!!).

Keyboard

You probably want to manually select keyboard US,  Layout US

( EVEN IF YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT KEYBOARD, THIS IS A SERVER THAT WILL BE ACCESSING REMOTELY!)

Partitioning

Choose LVM and use entire disk

(This will "destroy" any data on the selected hard drive!)

The rest of the installation CD is fairly straight forward.
